Roster versus lineup
A roster lists players and jersey numbers. A lineup identifies who is on court and their positions. Enable Lineup and add players to use the court view.
- Indoor volleyball uses six positions.
- The server is highlighted on court.
- Statistics are optional and independent of lineups.
Correct before starting, substitute during play
Before starting, tap an incorrectly selected player and choose another. This edits the preparation rather than recording a substitution. During play, use the substitution workflow.
- Check the first serving team before starting.
- Positions update when serve changes according to the selected rules.
- During post-point statistics entry, tapping a player records an action for the previous rally.
Getting started
- Create a match with Lineup enabled.
- Add players and jersey numbers, then set both starting lineups.
- Check first serve and correct any starting player by tapping their circle.
- Start, keep score, follow rotations and record substitutions.
Example workflow
Before the first whistle, replace an incorrectly selected number 12 with number 8. No playing substitution is consumed. A player change during the match is recorded as a substitution.
Important limitations
Lineup rules depend on the discipline. This is an officiating and position-tracking view, not a tactical drawing board. With both statistics and lineups disabled, the web version displays a larger score without a court.
