Prepare before going courtside
Offline mode covers matches previously opened and prepared in the same browser on the same device. It does not let you open any tournament or unfamiliar page for the first time without a connection.
- Sign in and open the match while online.
- Wait for the ready-for-offline confirmation.
- Check rosters, modes and rules in advance.
Saved locally is not yet synchronized
Offline actions can be retained on your device without being visible to spectators. Once connectivity returns, wait for confirmation that they reached the server.
- Do not clear browser data or switch devices before synchronization.
- Use one officiating device; concurrent changes may cause a version conflict.
- If a conflict appears, review the choices rather than blindly overwriting another update.
Getting started
- Open the match online in the browser you will use.
- Confirm offline readiness; rehearse using a separate practice match.
- Continue entering actions during an outage and monitor local-save status.
- After reconnecting, wait for synchronization or retry without clearing browser data.
Example workflow
The connection drops during set two. A prepared match remains available in that browser, including after reloading the page. You continue officiating; spectators receive updates after successful reconnection and synchronization.
Important limitations
Offline storage depends on browser support and available space. Private browsing, clearing data and switching devices are unsuitable for retaining unsynchronized actions. Tournament creation, invitations and first-time match loading need a connection.
